Herb Walter Memorial Pie Contest

The Carroll Community Festival honors the memory of Herb, a lifelong Carroll resident and farmer who faithfully entered the festival’s pie baking contest year after year. His warm spirit and dedication to this beloved tradition are fondly remembered and deeply missed, and this cherished photo (above) from a few years ago reflects the joy he brought to our community. In his honor, bakers are invited to participate in this year’s pie contest by downloading, picking up at Carroll Cup Coffee House, or requesting an entry form at carrollfestivaloh1@gmail.com.
